Admission Process

Candidates with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in graduation or appearing in the final year of graduation from a UGC-recognized university and having appeared for either the CAT 2022, XAT, MAT, CMAT, CET, ATMA, or GMAT entrance exams are eligible to apply. 

Shortlisted candidates will be called for group discussions (GD) and personal interviews. The final merit list would be prepared after considering the weighted scores of various components like academic record, entrance test scores, work experience, group discussion, and personal interview. A final offer of admission would be declared based on these criteria.

Placement rate at the campus

For the last academic year, all our students from the PGDM batch have been placed. We had 200+ recruiters from various industries such as BFSI, Real Estate, FMCG, IT/ITeS, Consulting, and Manufacturing. We have had the likes of Kotak Mahindra Bank, Lodha, Godrej, ITC, Deloitte, Tech Mahindra, and many more power brands visit the campus last year. 

This year, we are also exploring partnerships with new age industries such as – FinTech, Cybersecurity, Analytics, EV, Green Energy and Sustainability. Our final placement and internship season for this academic year has already begun, and we look forward to a great season this year too.

Industry academia collaborations for placements and industry level training

For career and industry oriented student development, we focus on proactively engaging the industry. We have engaged industry professionals in conducting ‘Masterclasses’, ‘Learning with Legends’ and domain specific conclaves that enable our students and faculty to understand and address the emerging trends and global management concepts that are prevalent in the industry. 

We invite the industry to conduct guest sessions, including designing the course curriculum, academic evaluation of student deliverables, pre placement preparations and simulations, joint certification programmes, training, and workshops.

Dr.Nilesh Gokhale is the Director(I/C) and a Professor of Marketing with a total experience of 22 years spread across Academics, industry and Research.

An Engineering graduate himself, Dr. Gokhale is an MBA and holds a Doctorate in Marketing from Pune University. Dr. Gokhale has authored 3 textbooks and published several research papers in national and international journals of repute indexed in SCOPUS and Web of Science. His areas of interest include Brand Management and Consumer Behaviour. Dr. Gokhale is a Ph.D guide and is also on the Board of studies of reputed institutions. He has conducted corporate training programs and has also worked as a Brand consultant.

Dr. Shuchi Gautam is working as Deputy Director and Professor of Finance at Thakur Global Business School. She is a qualified Chartered Accountant with a master’s and a bachelor’s degree in Commerce. She holds a doctorate degree in Financial Management from Savitribai Phule Pune University. Her Ph.D. research concentrated on Mergers and acquisition deals of selected pharmaceutical companies.
