TGBS offers a two-year full-time Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) program designed to equip students with relevant knowledge, skills and attitude to deal with a dynamic business environment with confidence and clarity.

The PGDM program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of various aspects of business and management. The program typically focuses on developing managerial and leadership skills and providing knowledge in domain areas such as finance, marketing, human resources, and operations. The curriculum is designed to provide students with a solid foundation in business principles and practices, along with practical learning experiences. At TGBS the focus is on holistic learning through enriching academics, industry interaction, innovative learning methods, experiential learning, global exposure, training, self-management, extracurricular and co-curricular activities. Impeccable industry engagement and placement opportunities are one of the highlights of TGBS PGDM Programme.

Yes. the TGBS PGDM Program is recognized by the All-India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra (DTE) and the Government of Maharashtra with a sanctioned student intake of 120 seats.

TGBS offers Specialization in Finance, Marketing, Human resource & Operations Management.

Students select their specializations from the first semester itself. Students can choose specialization from Finance, Marketing, HR, Operations for which mentoring is provided by the faculty members and alumni from industry.

Any Indian National with minimum 50% aggregate marks in graduation (45% in case the candidate belongs to reserved category) from a UGC-recognized University can apply. Candidates appearing in the final year of graduation and expecting to complete all the requirements including sitting through the examinations for the award of Graduation Degree can also apply.

Besides above, candidates should have appeared for any of the qualifying exams. The Institute accepts CAT, MAT, XAT, ATMA, CMAT, CET, GMAT scores for admission to two-year full-time PGDM Program for the batch 2024-26. Applicants are expected to provide a test score for one of these qualifying exams.

Shortlisted candidates will be called for Group Discussion (GD), Personal Interview on the scheduled Date.

Shortlisting of the candidates will be done based on Test scores (CAT 2022, XAT, MAT, CMAT, CET, ATMA, GMAT) and criteria like the previous academic record and relevant work experience.

Shortlisted candidates would be called to attend a Group Discussion (GD) & Personal Interview (PI) on a designated date. Applicants will be informed about the GD/PI schedule through email / phone.

The final merit list would be prepared after considering weighted scores of various components like the Academic record, Test score, Work experience, Group Discussion & Personal Interview. Final offer of admission would be declared basis these criteria.

Application Form and Admission Brochure can be obtained from the Institute by paying Rs. 2000/-.

The Admission form will also be available at the counter of TGBS on all working days from 9.30 A.M. to 5.30 P.M. Candidates may submit the Application forms at the TGBS counter by hand.

At TGBS, we offer world class technology enabled infrastructure to our students. Along with a state-of-the-art, air-conditioned building, classrooms, lecture halls, computer labs, discussion rooms, a seminar center and an auditorium; students also have access to a next generation Fintech lab, audio visual equipment, a learning resource center equipped with physical and digital learning assets, an ideation room, an Entrepreneurship and Innovation center, refreshments hall, a canteen, a Wi-Fi enabled campus, an indoor sports room and an outdoor playground.

The Institute has separate hostels for boys and girls. The charges for Hostel Accommodation are separate from the tuition fee.

The faculty pool at TGBS comprises of a diverse team from academics and industry who are proven professionals in their fields. It provides a good blend of concepts and practices leading to a wholesome learning experience for the students.

Most banks today offer Financial Assistance through education loans. The Institute facilitates students in getting bank loans by providing necessary documents.

Industry Institute interaction is critical for meeting the challenging industry expectations. At TGBS, for student development, we have specific focus on proactively engaging with the Industry through activities such as Industry Certifications, Corporate Trainings, Live Projects, Industry Leaders sessions, Industry Tours, Industry Emergent Trends and SME Sessions, National / Global Event Analysis sessions, CSR and Sustainability Projects, Alumni Sessions, organizing and participation in Corporate Events, Seminars, Research Conferences and Domain / Specialization Conclaves. Our faculty are also involved with the industry through internships, joint market research, consultancy assignments and management development programs. We invite the industry leaders to contribute to designing our program curriculum, developing customized learning material, guiding the students as Industry Mentors participating in their academic evaluation.

We also receive sponsorships for student events, entrepreneur incubators, student scholarships and awards. We also encourage and enroll industry leaders as professional chairs at the institute, as members of the Governing Council, College Development Committee, Advisory Committee and Placement Committee.

Summer Internship is an academic requirement of the PGDM program. Every student of the program is expected to work in the industry for the period of 2 months (in the months of May & June). Through its placement cell, TGBS offers its students summer internships (including many paid internships) that give students an opportunity to apply management concepts learnt, explore how a particular industry works, and network with industry peers, understand the emergent trends in the market, interact with clients and analyze real world business problem.

The Placement Cell at TGBS provides opportunities and guidance to students for final placements with leading organizations and brands in Banking, Financial Services, ITES and Consulting, Real Estate, FMCG, Supply chain and logistics and so on.

Students are guided for creating their Resumes, LinkedIn profile and most importantly to make a choice about their specialization and career. TGBS Placement cell also organizes pre-placement simulation sessions, mock aptitude tests, and alum interview sessions.

Subject matter training and Industry-based certification are provided to ensure that students are well prepared to participate in the highly competitive placement processes. The placement cell also provides best practices and guidelines to students for better performance during the selection process and making an informed decision about the placement in companies they would like to apply to.

In the AY 2022 – 23, 177 companies have visited the campus and all the students enrolled for placement assistance have been placed. To name a few, we have had the likes of HDFC Ltd, Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd, Godrej & Boyce, Bandhan Bank, Morgan Stanley, JP Morgan, Federal Bank, RBL Bank, ITC, Parag Milk Foods, Ujjivan SFB, Chandak Group, Lodha Group, Sunteck Realty, Piramal Realty, Tech Mahindra, Zycus, BNP Paribas, Aditya Birla Finance Ltd, Institutional Shareholder Services India Pvt. Ltd.(ISS) recruit our students. The highest CTC was ₹10.42 L, Average CTC is ₹5.5 L, Median CTC is ₹ 5 L and lowest CTC was ₹4.5 L.

Program fee for the PGDM 2024-26 is 11.40 lakh. Besides the program fee students need to pay additionally for the Mess and Hostel if they opt for it.

Dr.Nilesh Gokhale is the Director(I/C) and a Professor of Marketing with a total experience of 22 years spread across Academics, industry and Research.

An Engineering graduate himself, Dr. Gokhale is an MBA and holds a Doctorate in Marketing from Pune University. Dr. Gokhale has authored 3 textbooks and published several research papers in national and international journals of repute indexed in SCOPUS and Web of Science. His areas of interest include Brand Management and Consumer Behaviour. Dr. Gokhale is a Ph.D guide and is also on the Board of studies of reputed institutions. He has conducted corporate training programs and has also worked as a Brand consultant.

Dr. Shuchi Gautam is working as Deputy Director and Professor of Finance at Thakur Global Business School. She is a qualified Chartered Accountant with a master’s and a bachelor’s degree in Commerce. She holds a doctorate degree in Financial Management from Savitribai Phule Pune University. Her Ph.D. research concentrated on Mergers and acquisition deals of selected pharmaceutical companies. She has a total experience of 18 years in academia and industry

Prof. Jaideep Dasgupta is a faculty in the area of Finance. He is an MBA(full-time) from NMIMS (Mumbai) and is currently pursuing his Ph.D. from XLRI Jamshedpur. He has 5+ years of experience in the banking industry with reputed banks such as ICICI Bank and HDFC Bank in core finance profiles related to financial modeling, credit appraisal, new client acquisition and digital banking. He has 3.5+ years of experience in the field of academics.
