Meri Maati Mera Desh- Amrut Kalash Yatra
TGBS organized “Amrit Kalash Yatra” as a part of Meri Mati Mera Desh Campaign initiated by the Government of India. The students brought Mitti in small quantities to the institute. The Mitti was then collected in the Amrit Kalash followed by Panch Pran pledge taken at the time of collection of Mitti. The Yatra was then conducted with the Amrit Kalash within the campus. PGDM students of TGBS and all the faculty members participated with great enthusiasm.
Beach Cleaning Drive
TGBS’s Social Responsibility and Sustainability Cell (SRSC) organised Beach Cleaning Drive on 29th September 2023. The drive was conducted in collaboration with “Being Sevak Charitable Trust (NGO)” at Marve beach, Malad-West. The activity was conducted under the Government of India “Swachhata Hi Seva” Mission. Overall 25 Students of TGBS from Sem I and Sem III participated in the event with great enthusiasm. The volunteers team collected plastic waste from the beach. This activity added value to environment sustainability & helped in improving the quality of marine life.
International Peace Day
TGBS’s Social Responsibility and Sustainability Cell organized awareness Quiz on the eve of International Peace Day on 21st September 2023 for PGDM Sem I & Sem III students. The activities included dissemination of information on the relevance of peace within the lives of human being.
The activity will surge students’ Knowledge on significance of International Peace Day and attitude instilled was acceptance towards national days of significance & respect for history of India.
Poster Making Competition
TGBS’s Social Responsibility and Sustainability Cell (SRSC) organized Poster Making Competition on the eve of independence day on 14th August 2023 on the theme of “Nation First Always First”. Students of PGDM Sem I and Sem III had participated along with teaching and non-teaching staff members. Participants had shown their creativity and enthusiasm by making creative posters.
Save the Flag
TGBS ‘s Social Responsibility and sustainability Cell(SRSC) on the eve of 76th Independence Day, in collaboration with Being Sevak (NGO) organized a cleanliness drive under “Save the Flag” campaign, on August 16, 2023. here a team of student volunteers had gathered abandoned flags that were damaged or untidy. The areas covered were Thakur Village, Borivali and Kandivali by the volunteers of TGBS. The activity aimed at ensuring environment sustainability & endeavours to maintain the respect & dignity of the national flag
International Yoga Day
TGBS Social Responsibility and Sustainability Cell organized a ‘Yoga Session’ to celebrate International Yoga Day on 21st June 2023 for teaching, non-teaching and support staff members. The session started with sharing of some basic understanding on the significance of Yoga in our lives followed by guided stretching exercises and breathing techniques. All the staff members highly benefited from it and enthusiastically participated in it. The session ended with sharing of learning outcomes from the participants.
World Environment Day
SRSC at TGBS celebrated World Environment Day on 5th June 2023 for the students of PGDM Sem II and IV. As per government initiative students and staff members participated in the National Pledge called “The Puneet Sankalp” on the theme “Beat Plastic Pollution” and received certificates for the same. KSAs (Knowledge, Skills and Attitude) learnt were knowledge about ways to save environment & reduce plastic pollution, environment sensitivity.
