International Women’s Day
Social Responsibility Cell at TGBS celebrated International Women’s Day on March 8, 2022 at TSAP hall. The focus of the event was on “Gender Equality” .The KRA members organized a Skit and Trivia on Women achievers that enhanced the knowledge level of the budding leaders. The women teaching & non-teaching staff was also felicitated by the Budding Leaders with customized greeting cards. To observe gender equality, all men staff members were appreciated for their contribution in all possible ways. Overall, 44 students participated along with 17 faculty members & non-teaching staff. The event was a learning experience for the budding leaders.

Republic Day Celebration
Social Responsibility Cell at TGBS celebrated the Republic day on January 25, 2022. The focus of the event was a panel discussion on “Republic day: A Management Perspective” & financial planning lessons from the republic day. The KRA members also organized a quiz competition that enhances the knowledge level of the budding leaders about significance of the republic day. Overall, 38 students participated along with the faculty members. The event was a learning experience for the budding leaders.
KSA Acquired: Financial planning lessons from RD, Presentation skills, interpersonal skills & sense of patriotism.
Constitution Day
Constitution Day was observed at Thakur Global Business School on Nov.26, 2021. The basic aim of observance of “Samvidhan Divas’’ is to bring to the notice of Indian citizens to reiterate and reorient the values and principles expressed in the Indian Constitution and encouraging all Indians to play their rightful role in strengthening the Indian Democracy.
The Social Responsibility Cell of TGBS presented a special event on ‘Samvidhan Divas ‘.The event started with a brief highlight about the significance of the Constitution Day by a student member of SRC. This was event was attended by PGDM I & IV students including all faculty members. Key Management learning discussed were: Liberty, Accountability and Equality.
Unity Day
The Social Responsibility Cell of TGBS organized a special event on Vigilance Awareness Week and Birth Anniversary of Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel on 1st Nov 2021. Information and awareness on topic “Corruption is the root cause of Indian Economic Decline ” has been shared by the KRA Members. The event was attended by Sem I & III students & staff members. Budding Leaders actively participated in the fun quiz on VAM. SRC also conducted a quiz on Oct’30 with an endeavor to sensitize members about the significance of “Unity day”.
Independence Day Celebration
SRC in collaboration with SC celebrated Independence Day at TGBS, to encourage patriotism. The session started with DMS as the daily ritual followed by the celebration. Students & teaching-Non-teaching staff celebrated “Azadi Ka Amrit” mahotsava at the institute level by participating in the rashtragan. The celebration encouraged the feeling of giving back to the society & nation in every possible manner. The activity also enabled participants develop feeling of nationalism for India.
International Yoga Day
International Yoga Day at TGBS was celebrated on June 21, 2021. Yoga, being the critical part of everybody’s life & is celebrated every year at TGBS sensitizing staff & students the significance of the day. This year the event started with Daily Mindfulness Session (DMS), followed by practicing yoga under the guidance of Ms. Siddhi Desai, yoga instructor. The session also included guided meditation as one of the experiences for the participants. In order to assess participants understanding IYD quiz was also conducted. Lastly, the event ended with words of gratitude to the ecosystem of TGBS, Management & HOI for the constant support & all directly & indirectly involved in making IYD a success !
