The Social Responsibility Cell of TGBS presented a special event on ‘Samvidhan Divas‘ on 26th November 2020.The event started with a brief highlight about the significance of the Constitution Day by a student member of SRC, thereby live telecasting the reading of preamble by Hon. President of India. This was event was attended by PGDM I & III students including all faculty members .Post the live telecast learnings from the preamble in the form of management principles was highlighted by the student members. Key learnings discussed were: Liberty, Accountability and Equality.
Vigilance Awareness Week & National Unity Day
Vigilance Awareness Week was observed at TGBS & organized by the SRC on 28th October, 2020. The event included a Panel discussion with panellists who shared their insights on topic "Corruption is the root cause of Indian Economic Decline ". The event was attended by Sem I & III students & staff members. SRC also conducted a quiz on Oct’31 with an endeavour to sensitize members about the significance of “Unity day”. The event resulted in enhancing Speaking & presentation skills long with open-mindedness among the students.
The Social Responsibility Cell of TGBS, on Gandhi Jayanti, organized a special event for the PGDM students (Sem I & III) on 1st October, 2020 wherein, students were assigned to create a Mind Map based on the learnings from the leadership lessons from Mahatma Gandhiji. The event focussed upon teachings of Gandhiji: The greatest Management Guru (MG): how to market a cause, connect emotionally, develop strategy using swot, sharpen mind daily & use peace as a strategic weapon. The students acknowledged & appreciated the management of TGBS for inculcating such value system via implementation of TGBS best practices (TBP).
International Peace Day
The Social Responsibility Cell, TGBS celebrated IPD on the virtual platform on 21st September 2020. The event started with a welcome speech and introduction followed by mindfulness session (DMS) which was helpful in experiencing inner peace and presence. Thereafter, a skit dialogue was performed by members who highlighted peace in its real sense & included the peace mantra. It also included “quote” activity which highlighted creativity, sensitivity & open-mindedness among the participants. SRC conveys sincere gratitude to the Management for providing the platform.

International Women's Day
Social Responsibility Cell, TGBS organized a Panel Discussion on the special occasion of International Women's Day on 8th March 2021. The day is a global day of celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political accomplishments of women also marks a call to action for accelerating gender parity. The SRC and SC members organized the event & invited two well-known personalities namely Ms. Ana Lall, Breath Trainer, Yoga Smith pvt. ltd. & Ms. Ena Gauba, Regional Head – ICICI Bank. The panel discussion was focused on the title: Sheroes (Journey of a Homemaker to a Women-preuner to a Professional to an Artist to a Sportsperson).
Post panel discussion, gratitude was extended to the esteemed panelists. The event also included a quiz on the theme and lastly ended the event with a vote of thanks to TGBS for providing the platform to celebrate IWD.
Guest Session on “CSR: Creating a Sustainable World”
Social Responsibility Cell, TGBS organized a Guest Session on the Virtual platform on 15th January 2021. The guest speaker Ms. Sahista Iqbal, Manager CSR at HDFC Life, focused on the meaning of CSR, the phases of evolution, CSR spending trends of companies, Its project life cycle along with case studies discussion of Hindustan Unilever Ltd, ITC Ltd, HDFC Bank, and Mahindra & Mahindra etc. like how they are contributing. Thereafter, the session speaker highlighted Sustainable Development Goals, the response of Covid 19 by showing some videos. She also explained Social responsibility to sustainability and the projects & activities conducted by government. The guest session enlightened the students about making CSR as a lucrative career option.
National Youth Day
TGBS celebrated National Youth Day on the Virtual platform on 12th January 2021. The event started with a beautiful quote said by Swami Vivekanand and a brief introduction on ‘why we celebrate Swami Vivekanand Birth Date as National Youth Day’. Followed by interactional activity with the students where they were to recognize the quotes which were displayed. Thereafter, an Extempore competition was conducted .With an inspiring quote a member concluded the event by extending sense of gratitude to TGBS Management, the Director, Faculty members, Digital/IT team, supporting team & all TGBS student who participated and took insights from the audiences. The event ended by performing HTTC to harmonize the thought process & balance one’s mind.
