TGBS conducted its very First Virtual Panel discussion on “Blueprint to financial freedom” under mission FIRE (Financially Independent, Retire Early), as a part of TFIP (TGBS Financial Independence Plan) in a very unique way on 20th March, 2021 on the zoom platform. Student organizers along with respected HOI addressed the event and gave warm welcome to the esteemed panelists. The Panelists consisted of Mr. Rohit Kaweri, Associate, Deutsche Bank Mr. Urvish Acharya, Senior Professional, Aditya Birla Group, Mr.Bhavesh Shah, Wealth manager, ICICI Bank. Approximately 90 budding leaders across Finance, Marketing, Human resources, and Operations attended the event online. The panelists highlighted a few important aspects of Financial Independence like: start investing early, the order of investments to be followed from short term to long term to super long term investment, consider investing into different investment options like PPFs, VPF, NPS, buying a plot, real estate etc. Based on the significant questions asked by various students of different specializations, the panel members also guided them on having a longer perspective, having balance of different financial classes in a portfolio and the difference between earnings of traders & investors. The panel members also enlightened them on the various factors to be considered while selecting a broker, outlook to have while investing in crypto currency, different scenarios to use Fundamental analysis and technical analysis. After the insightful conversation student organizers very well summarized the entire Panel Discussion for the attendees. A warm vote of thanks was extended to the Panelist and the entire TGBS family. The Budding leaders were filled with confidence and positivity and at the same time were satisfied with the knowledge shared by esteemed panelist.
