A guest session was conducted by TGBS Marketing Department on 25thFeb 2023. The resource person for the session was Dr. Ranjan Chaudhuri, Professor at IIM Ranchi. The session was conducted with an objective to introduce students to Neuroscience and its role in marketing. Also, to understand the impact of Neuroscience on consumer behaviour and its applications in brand management. About 47 students from the PGDM Mktg& HR Sem- II attended the session.Below benefits were derived by the students from the session:
- Students understood the application of neuroscientific methods to gauge consumer behaviour and how consumers make decisions that can lead to purchases
- Students received valuable insights in the area of Brand Management
The speaker was very interactive and knowledgeable while being motivating throughout which maintained the audience’s attention. At the end of the session, the students submitted their feedback which was overwhelmingly positive.
