Six Sigma Training

The Operations Department, in collaboration with LSS International Certification Academy, organized a training workshop on Six Sigma methodologies on 15th and 16th October 2025 at the TGBS campus. The workshop was conducted by Dr. Anita Stalin, a certified Six Sigma expert and experienced trainer from LSS International Certification Academy. The training was attended by a total of seven students, including three students from PGDM (Operations) at TGBS and four students from MBA (Operations) at TCET. During the two-day intensive workshop, participants were introduced to key Six Sigma concepts and tools, including:

• Introduction to Six Sigma and its relevance in Operations Management
• DMAIC methodology (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control)
• Process Mapping and SIPOC diagrams
• Root Cause Analysis using Fishbone and 5 Whys
• Basic Statistical Tools for Quality Improvement
• Control Charts and Process Capability Analysis

The workshop provided hands-on exposure to real-world problem-solving using Six Sigma frameworks, enabling students to apply quality improvement techniques in operational settings.
